You Blew It Man !

yay ! I've finished my industrial training . now, I'm officially a zombie job seekers .

aloha, readers . I had a job interview two weeks ago for a programmer's position . the interviewers were pretty chill and I did great on the questions . haaa.. great ? arrrggghh.. 

at first, everything seems to go well . until I spoil it out by answered some questions incorrectly . T.T

la la la . stupidos . I lost my self-confidence, believe in myself .  one month for a simple system ? I can do better than that .

"you blew it man ! "

muehehe . 

chill ! It was my first Interview . hopefully, will do better next time . wish me luck !

How to Configure Eclipse WPT

aloha ! for learning JSP I have installed  Java, Tomcat 7 and Eclipse . before start learning JSP using Eclipse, I have to set up the runtime environment . below shows how I configure Eclipse WTP .

1.  go to "Window", an then "Preferences" .
2.  click button "Add" and select your Tomcat version (I'm using Tomcat 7) .


3.  click "Next" .
4.  browse for tomcat installation directory and click "Finish" .


5. "OK" . now I'm ready to use Tomcat with Eclipse . :D

How to Install a WordPress Theme

aloha ! do you have a problem with theme installation in WordPress ? don't know where to go ? let's learn it now . together . :)

1.  log in to your WordPress .
2.  go to "Appearance", and "Theme" .


3.  click "Install Theme" .

  

4.  go to "upload" .
5.  choose file and click "Install Now" . (do not unzip the file) .


6.  it's done . click "Live Preview" if you want to preview the theme .
7.  satisfied ? save and activate it .

Installing WordPress Locally

why I want to localhost my WordPress ? yup.. yup.. why ? easy, quick and simple answer . I just don't want to crashes and messes my site up . I want to test my theme or any plugin on localhost first, before shifting to WordPress . where in localhost I can make a lot more changes without breaking the production site . however, installing WordPress is not as easy as I thought . It is quite hard for someone like me . yup..yup.. someone like me . 

I've tried so many times to install WordPress on XAMPP . but I'm still getting an error "establishing database connection" . urgggghhh.. bosan tau . until I found this application . WebMatrix . so, what should a beginner like me do ? 

1.  first, download WebMatrix and install it in your computer .
2.  run your WebMatrix, and it will look like this .


3.  go to "App Gallery" .
4.  click "WordPress" .


5.  click "Next" and "I Accept" .
6.  if MySQL is not yet installed, we need to install it before configure WordPress .  to begin the install, just enter your password (remember the password til you die.. hoho) . click "Next" .
7.  downloading and installation will start now .
8.  click "Next" .
9.  done creating database, click "OK" .
10. after click "OK", a new window will open in your browser . fill the required fills . click "Install" .


 11. yay.. it's done ! click "Log in" .


12. enjoy your new WordPress site .
